During the summer of 2004 myself and Mark Sheldon created a display about air accidents in the Peak District for public display at the RAF Millom Museum. Much of the material was recovered from crash sites in and around the Peak District during the 1980s by the now defunct Macclesfield Historical Aviation Society.
The display was housed in the former RAF Station's squash court alongside the Lancashire Aircraft Investigation Team's displays, the our displays were first open to viewing during early September 2004.
The RAF Millom Museum was forced to close due to financial reasons in August 2010, at this time we were able to recover all of the displays that we had placed on public display. All the items are presently in storage awaiting a new home where they can once again be viewed by members of the public.
