Peak District Air Accident Research

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IIA P7593 was being ferried by 4 FPP on the 17th November 1940 from RAF Kirkbride (12 MU) near Carlisle to RAF West Malling when it crashed near to Upper Hulme. Some sources state that the aircraft was being ferried by No.421 Flight at the time of the crash.
