Peak District Air Accident Research

Bristol Blenheim Mk.I K7076 of No.54 OTU crashed on Arnagill Moor north of Pateley Bridge on the 27th January 1941.

The pilot of the aircraft was on a training flight from RAF Church Fenton when the aircraft crashed on Arnagill Moor between Pateley Bridge and Colsterdale.

P/O Graham was later promoted up to the rank of Squadron Leader before being killed on the 10th September 1943 while serving with No.255 Squadron in the Mediterranean. That unit was operating Beaufighters in the nightfighter role.

A reasonable amount of wreckage remains at this site, probably due to it location not being widely know, above is a photo showing the remaining wreckage.
