Wellington Mk.X HE466 of No.30 Operational Training Unit (OTU) crashed on Foel Grach in the Carneddau above Llyn Dulyn reservoir 13th February 1943 while on a night cross country flight form Hixon.

The crew were buried at various cemeteries and churchyards throughout the British Isles, above is Sergeant Frezell's grave at Caernarfon cemetery. 

 

Sergeant Edwin Towler's grave at Bolton

The Air Gunner, Sergeant Edwin Towler was buried near his home in Bolton and the town's Tongue Cemetery.
