Meet the Team, well, that's if you consider two Aviation Archaeologists with a few friends and family who get dragged out into the middle of nowhere to be a team!
First of all myself Alan Clark, I am from Romiley near Stockport to the south east of Manchester and started visiting crash sites in February 1999 and since then have found (as of 18th July 2006) 316 crash sites throughout England, Scotland and Wales.
This photo was taken next to part of the wing from,
Wellington Mk.IC DV718, on Blake Hill in North Yorkshire in May 2002.

Phillip Parrans
but he does enjoy searching for crash sites, and throwing in the odd sarcastic comment and death threat every now and then.
To add to the confusion there a two Phils, so this one is Phil Jnr.
This was taken at the crash site of Dragon Rapide G-ALBC in
June 2000.

Mark Sheldon, from Poynton in Cheshire.
Mark started visiting crash sites in April 1992 and has visited (as of 18th July 2006)
nearly 450 crash sites throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
This photo was taken on his visit to Dakota Mk.IV KK194 on the Isle of Mull.
How about a real scary one, my Mum Angela - its all her fault
she’s not normal.
And my Dad Alf, He’s more sensible.
This mugshot was taken in the Scottish Highlands.
It was my mum that made the mistake of getting me started in this hobby back in Dec 1998 (although I didn't visit a wreck until Feb 1999) when she bought a copy of Dark Peak Aircraft Wrecks Vol.1 for me, oh if only she knew what was about to happen.

And this is a mugshot of Phil’s Dad, also called Phil (Big
Phil) taken on a winters day at Chew reservoir.
And below here there really should be a section for those who
just get dragged along.
Mark's brother Richard taken in 1999. Despite disliking
visiting crash sites on the basis that you have to place one foot in front of
the other in a repeated pattern he has (as of 14th June 2003) visited 228 crash
sites!
