| Crew / Passengers | Rank - if applicable | Position e.g. Pilot | Status |
| Ivan Steen Sollows | Flight Sergeant RCAF | Pilot | Killed |
| Marc Jean Lahausse | Sergeant | Navigator | Killed |
The two crew were on a night navigation training exercise from RAF Crosby-on-Eden, near Carlisle, when they strayed into the high ground in the north east of the Lake District. Their aircraft flew into the grassy fell above Wolf Crag near Keswick where it broke up killing both airmen.

Looking towards where the aircraft crashed, there is very little left of this aircraft now, we only discovered a couple of small fragments in the grass.

Flt Sgt Sollows was buried at Chester (Blacon) Cemetery, above is a photograph of his grave.

Sgt Lahausse is also buried at Chester close to Flt Sgt Sollows
