Today most of the aircraft remains at the site, with the exception of the instrument panel, undercarriage and the engine.
The latter was recovered by local air cadets a number of years after the crash.

Above is the aircraft’s complete (though rather crumpled) port wing showing the registration G-AVYN.

The same wing seen just over nine years the previous photograph, the registration has faded noticeably and corrosion more pronounced but beyond that it is relatively unchanged.

The upper side of the port wing is in slightly better condition, having not been exposed to the weather, however the water & peat below it have begun to corrode parts of it

A short time gathering items up at the site allowed partial reconstruction of the fuselage with the engine fire wall both doors and some of the other panels.

This photo shows the more complete of the two doors, the bars the rudder pedals attached to and the post the two control yokes were attached to can bee seen still fastened in position.
